Ten minutes from the Blanchette Bridge and only 15 minutes from Lake St. Louis and Wentzville, Campbell’s beautiful 6-acre campus is situated at the end of a quiet street next to a park. The magnificent playground includes a nature trail, deck and garden areas.
Campbell has a commitment to honor the welfare of children and to use the Montessori approach to learning at all stages of development. Programs are available for students 18 months through 14 years. At this time, we have a class for Toddlers (18–30 months), three Primary Classes for preschoolers (2 ½–6 years), two Lower Elementary classes (6–9 years), one Upper Elementary class (9–12 years), and a developing Middle School Class (12–14 years).
In addition to our regular academic day, Campbell offers a Girl Scout program, after school music lessons, private instrumental and voice lessons. Campbell students who take private lessons participate during the summer in the Annual Mid-America Music Association Festival. The Clarkson School of Irish Dance holds classes at Campbell, and in 2011 became the first group from Missouri to be invited to the World Championships in Dublin, Ireland.
Elementary students have the opportunity to participate in the Read, Right and Run program each year, which combines reading 26 books, doing 26 "right" deeds, and walking or running 26 miles. Drama, art, music theory and vocal music are incorporated into the school day. Our entire community holds an annual food drive we call Children Giving to Children, which benefits a local food pantry. Elementary students often engage in service projects. During the 2010-11 school year, they raised $1,311 to donate to the Atai Orphanage in rural Uganda.
Campbell is a not-for-profit school. Quality standards for the school and teachers are maintained by affiliation with the Association Montessori International.
